You may be one of those who are subsceptible to a pollen allergy.  Here are some tips that can be helpful to you:

1.  Avoid going outside as much as possible when the pollen counts are high. This doesn’t mean that you can’t go out, but you can minimise your exposure.  Also, you will want to go outside prepared for the high pollen counts by watching the news and looking at the weather sites. It is possible to avoid a pollen allergy attack if you do not go out when pollen counts are high.

2. When you do get home, you will want to change your clothes in a room that is private, but in a room that will not spread the pollen spores to the bedroom or other others of the house that you spend a lot of time in. Change your clothes immediately.

3. Do not open the windows in peak counts or drive with your car windows down. You may also want to consider wearing wrap around sunglasses that give more protective eye coverage.  In this manner, you can protect your eyes from the pollens in the air. Some people will go as far as placing petroleum jelly inside their nostrils so that the pollen will stick to the bottom of the nose and not enter the nasal passages.

During the spring, summer, and fall, you may find yourself susceptible to pollen allergy.  attacks and hay fever are triggered by the particles in the air.  These particles are released from the trees, weeds, and the many grasses. If you have a , then you should check the pollen levels on the various weather stations and sites before going out for the day.

Pollens are the worst in the morning and at night. You really only have to think about how you are going to get through the few hours in the morning and at night. Your pollen allergy will depend on the environment and what you find in your surrounding.

Perhaps the worst, is grass pollen. Your neighbours may cut grass on different days.  And you may find that you have hay fever for weeks at a time because of the various people cutting their grass. However, you have to think about not only the grass, but also the flowers and the trees.

The trees will give off their pollens in both the spring and summer. Do do bear in mind about the trees around you. Some people will also find that there other seasonal allergy triggers that will bring on a full attack.

To get tested for pollen allergy, you need to consult your doctor.  You may also find that there are multiple things that you are allergic to. So let you doctor know about your suspicions. Once you get tested, you need to discuss about the various ways in keeping your pollen allergy under control.
